Artiem’s mayor retired after the governor’s visit to the town
Radical changes await the heads of local municipalities. The government of Primorye aims to raise the administrative efficiency in the municipalities. Recently, the head of Artiem, Aleksandr Avdeev, has been fired. The mayor announced his retirement right after the slashing visit of the governor of Primorye, Oleg Kozhemiako. The residents of the town bombarded the governor with questions and complaints against the local administration.
Vyacheslav Kvon has been chosen as the acting mayor of Artiem.
