Governor of Primorsky region met with students who are planning to become officials in the municipal and regional authorities after graduation. The meeting was held in the campus of Far Eastern Federal University on 29th of November.  Vladimir Miklushevsky not only told about his work, but also answered all the questions, students were interested in.

Vladimir Miklushevsky, the governor of Primorsky region: "Becoming an official, a leader, very important to understand that servicing people is your task. And you should do it consciously. You think about ways to make people's lives better. "

Managerial decisions of “Iron Lady” Margaret Thatcher, Singapore system of corruption fighting and many other questions were asked during the meeting. Some questions brought up such subjects as public life, young families support and, of course, details of students’ future profession.

Life and needs of ordinary people come first and foremost. Work in bureaucracy includes not only realization of large-scale projects, but also solving of lots of routine and everyday problems of thousands of people.

Svetlana Kloptsova, student of FEFU: "I think, all students, majoring in State Administration are aimed at developing our region. We all hope to take positions that will help the development of the region, will allow to take part in public life, and make important decisions"

Detailed conversation took about an hour and a half. However, this meeting is not the last, because the discussion of policy, and this was the main topic during the meeting, cannot be finished within one meeting. One thing is clear - many of those who have chosen the profession of government officials are full of fresh and innovative ideas.
