What rehabilitation of COVID-19 patients looks like
COVID-19 created new challenges for local doctors. One of them is rehabilitation of the patients. It is still unclear what consequences coronavirus may bring for patients, so the doctors have to do everything they can to help their patients.
Anatoly Belyaev, the head physician of the Far East: «We need to work effectively the first 8 to 12 weeks. The whole rehabilitation process can take up to a whole year».
Russian physicians say they change all of their recommendations regarding COVID-19 for their patients almost every two weeks in order to avoid various consequences. The main health factor in this situation is oxygen saturation of the blood.
As for today, it is difficult to say if the second wave of the infection is possible. But for those who have already recovered from coronavirus, it is recommended to follow strict rehabilitation rules.
