40 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed among Chinese tourists returning back home via Vladivostok
As for April 8th, 40 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Heilongjiang province of China among Chinese tourists coming back home from Moscow and Novosibirsk via Vladivostok. Besides, 23 non symptomatic cases have also been confirmed.
According to the Chinese authorities, all of the infected people have arrived to Vladivostok from Moscow and Novosibirsk by different flights from March 29th to April 7th.
The general embassy of Russia in Harbin informes that in the last couple of days, 40 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Heilongjiang province. All of them arrived from Russia: 39 via «Pogranichny - Suifenhe» border control and one via «Poltavka - Dongning».
The biggest number of confirmed cases comes from 146 Chinese passengers from Aeroflot’s flight to Vladivostok on April 5th. All of the Russians, who were on the same flight, are in a lockdown now.
