Why people coming from abroad have to stay in self-isolation for exactly 14 days?
During a flight humain mucous membrane becomes very dry so it is not possible to examine if the person is infected with the virus or not. So it was decided to examine the people after 14 day long quarantine. This is why all of the people coming to Vladivostok have to go through double thermo control in airports.
The governor of Primorye mentioned that during the last weekend, 15 planes with more than 1000 passengers on board have arrived to Vladivostok from countries with epidemic alert.
Passengers have to fill in various forms where they mention where and when they were staying. Afterwards they are being instructed on what to do during 14-day long self-isolation.
