Businessmen of Primorye lose profit because of the coronavirus
Coronavirus is challenging Primorye’s business. Because of the closed borders with China and South Korea, the entrepreneurs of the region lose enormous amount of money.
One of the exemples is the famous eclair cafe in the city center. Recently, in order to buy the famous treat, it was necessary to stay in a long line of Korean tourists. Because of the huge demand, the cafe even had to enlarge its factory to 350 square metres. Now, the cafe is half empty.
The hotel business loses just as much profit as the restaurants because of the closed borders. Several hostels in the city center have already went bankrupt.
The entrepreneurs hope that the borders will be reopened in May and the tourists will come back to the region.
