The book giving day was held in Primorye
Besides St. Valentine’s day the whole world also celebrates the book giving day on February 14. More than 30 countries celebrate it annually and Russia is one of them.
The main goal of the holiday is to make people love reading. Primorye’s national art gallery decided to participate in the action as well. All day long many citizens of Vladivostok were donating books for the gallery’s recently reopened library.
The holiday was also celebrated in Primorye’s children library. Anyone can donate books to this library until February 17.
