Primorsky regional children's library invites residents of Primorye to take part in the third all-Russian action "Give books with love". Bring books for young residents of the region can be during the week until February 17.

"Give books with love" is an all-Russian action dedicated to the International day of bookmaking, which is celebrated in more than 30 countries on February 14.

As told in the regional Department of culture, donated books in Primorye will replenish the collections of libraries in the village of Anuchino.

"Young readers will be glad to see the works of classics and modern authors, encyclopedias and educational literature, books, toys and books," the institution noted.

In addition, on February 14, the library invites children from 6 to 8 years to the poetic meeting "Ferris Wheel on the international day of bookmaking". The meeting will begin at 16.00.

"Girls and boys will watch a mini-play based on the poems of modern children's poets, and will take part in a theatrical performance. They will get acquainted with the work of modern children's authors", – noted in the regional institution.

Last year, residents of Primorye, participants of the second all-Russian campaign "Give books with love", gave almost 3 thousand books. 747 books were added to the Fund Of the centralized library system of Nadezhda municipal district. Literature, not included in the circle of children's reading, was transferred to the military units of the city.

Reference: the Initiator of the all-Russian action "Give books with love" was the Association of cultural, art and education to introduce children to reading "raise the reader." The idea of the action is to give books to children on this day, expressing their love sincerely and eloquently. The first action "Give books with love" was held with great success in 2017. It was supported by libraries from almost 60 regions of the country, the largest bookstores, publishing houses, the Federal Agency for press and mass communications, TASS, the Russian newspaper, the state literary Museum and many other organizations.
