Vladivostok will hold the next Go’s world championship
During the days of the Far East in Moscow the next Go’s world championship, that will take place in Vladivostok, was discussed. The championship is planned to be held from May 28th to June 1st in 2020.
For the first time in the last 40 years, the championship will be held not in an Asian country. National champions from more than 70 countries are awaited in Primorye.
Nowadays, Go clubs are opened almost in every region of Russia. Russia’s players are one of the most numerous gamers of Europe.
For the first time in history of the championship, a world-wide festival of Go is planned to be organized as well for everyone who is willing to play.
