"Armenia" Dance ensemble will perform at the Ethnic Congress. Young artists have prepared a new program for the congress.

Shalakho dance in traditional costumes is a sight to see. The outfits, of course, are modern, but they are designed to resemble traditional Armenian costume.

Anna Petrosyan, the head of the "Armenia" Dance Ensemble says: "This is my big Armenian family ... We are dancing and during rehearsals talk only in the native language, and I'm sure, this way we cherish our culture".

She has got choreographic and pedagogical education in Armenia and fully pursued her professional talent in Primorsky region. For already five years boys and girls, whose parents live and work on the outskirts of Russia, grow in the Far East with a deep cultural immersion.

The repertoire includes lots of famous character dances. There are Russian and Georgian, Greek and even Gypsy national dances. Besides dances Anna Petrosyan also teach kids their native language, during rehearsals they speak only Armenian.

Everyone is eagerly awaiting for the performance at the Ethnic Congress. "Armenia" Dance ensemble will show the best compositions from their repertoire. They will introduce their cultural traditions in their performance and it will be beautiful, sincere and absolutely understandable without translation.
