Two foreigners tried to cross the border on Hassan but were caught
The Khasan District Court sentenced two foreign citizens who were found guilty of committing a crime under the article “Illegal crossing of the border of the Russian Federation by a group of persons”.
As established at the trial, the accused crossed the border in the Khasan district.
So, the violators acted by a group of persons by prior agreement, with the aim of moving a lot of dried sea cucumber from the territory of Russia for money.
“After their actions were discovered by border guards of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Primorsky Region, the attackers attempted to escape to avoid punishment for their actions, but were detained.
The court found both guilty of these criminal acts.
In view of the changes made by the regional court, the defendants were sentenced to 2 years and 10 months of imprisonment, each with the serving of a sentence in a penal colony.
