Photo traps in the "Bastak" Nature Reserve (Jewish Autonomous Region) have captured the daughter of the famous tigress Cinderella - Tala. She was captured her first time with her offspring. 

A year earlier, experts recorded an injury to Tala's foreleg and at one point even assumed she was dead, Amur Tiger Center experts note.

However, the latest check of camera traps confirmed positive forecasts: Tala is not only healthy, but also raising a new generation of tigers in the EAO. Tala is a daughter of the second offspring of the famous tiger Cinderella, whose release in 2013 marked the beginning of the tiger group's restoration in the Jewish Autonomous Region. Back then, Cinderella had two kittens in her litter: a male and a female. The male eventually left the territory, and the female began living next to her mother, receiving in an online poll the nickname Tala, which means "Golden" in Persian.

Tala's mother, Amur tigress Cinderella, was found in southwest Primorye in February 2012 as a small tiger cub in an extremely emaciated condition. In 2013, the predator, who had been rehabilitated in a special center in the village of Alekseevka in Primorye, was released in the Bastak reserve. She was one of the first tigresses to be returned to the wild as a part of the reintroduction program.
