Grain crops are being sown in the south part of Primorsky region. Warm March weather allows to go ahead of the sowing plans. However, not only good weather helps agrarians. Tractors and seeders are being controlled by space technology.

The technology of the future became the reality for the agrarians of Primorsky region. Mechanics of Mikhailovsky district have to refresh their mathematics knowledge. After all new seeding machines require exact calculations.

Alexander Golsky, a mechanic: "We, of course, have been using European equipment before, but not the once like this. Modern self-controlled equipment moves itself on an autopilot, same like plane».

GPS-equipment precisely paves the way, the rows are absolutely straight. Modern “space” technologies are the best assistants in sowing.

The local producer allocated 6000 hectares of land for wheat sowing for the first time this year. Most of the grain in Primorsky region is being used for farm animals’ fodder.  German seeds will turn gray field into a juicy green already in mid-April.

The agrarians of Primorsky region are cultivating new land. This year they plan to sow almost 460 thousand hectares of arable land. Now they cultivate even those areas, where crops have not been grown for decades.
