Sportsman from Vladivostok run an ultramarathon in his own apartment
Marathon runner Dmitry Yakukhny ran 100 km in his own apartment. The marathon was held around his bed and took more than ten hours.
Dmitry Yakukhny: «I was supposed to participate in one of the hardest ultramarathons «Marathon Des Sables» in Sahara this month but it was postponed because of COVID-19. Different sportsmen from France and Italy tried to run the marathon at home, on their balconies, so I decided to try the same thing».
Initially the sportsmen thought about running from one room to another but it would’ve been not practical so he decided to run around his bed. The marathon took him 10 hours.
