Air communication is cancelled: what can residents of the Far East do?
Russian authorities have announced a temporary stop of the air communication between Russia and South Korea due to the coronavirus epidemic. From March 1, flights to South Korea will be only operated from Moscow.
Jeju Air has closed its ticket sales for Vladivostok - Seul flights until March 31. Air Busan did the same thing for the flights between Vladivostok and Busan until March 28. Korean Air, Aurora and S7 haven’t closed their sales yet, as they await the official instructions from the Federal air transport agency.
If all of the Far Eastern flights will be cancelled, the locals will be able to get to South Korea via Moscow or Japan.
