A young man from Primorye became the first Russian student of the famous Japanese bonsai master
Andrei Bessonov is the first Russian student of the great Japanese master Masahiko Kimura. He has been learning bonsai - the art of growing miniature trees for six years now.
Andrey got the desire to master this Japanese art when he was twelve. He considers bonsai as his way of self-expression.
Masahiko Kimura is a world-famous bonsai master. Almost every one of his works considers as a masterpiece. He invited Andrey to come to Japan and learn more about bonsai with him, after he saw the younger’s talent.
Masahiko Kimura; «I already had more than 20 students, but Andrey amazed me with his diligence and will to work.
