The South African coronavirus variant has been found in Russia
According to Rospotrebnadzor, the South African coronavirus varient has been found in Russia.
Moreover, 28 cases turned out to be the British variant of COVID-19 and two the South African one. However, the Brazilian variant has not been detected in Russia.
Since March 16th 57 people have been tested positive with coronavirus in Primorye. In total, the region counts 41 519 positive cases. 117 people have recovered from the virus since yesterday and 36 775 in total.
50 508 citizens of the region have been vaccinated.
