From 25th to 27th of May in the city of Duisburg (Germany), the second stage of the World Cup in canoe and kayak rowing took place, which was attended by more than 600 athletes from 52 countries. Russia was represented by 23 oarsmen, among them a coastal canoeist, Olympic bronze medalist Ivan Shtyl.
As reported by "Vesti: Primorye" referring to the Department of Physical Education and Sport of Primorsky Krai, for the Primorye performances on the rowing channel in Duisburg ended with two gold medals.
