After two months in Primorsky Region will be held unique sport event � ice marathon �Vladivostok Ice Run�.

Organizers are sure that this big event will combine healthy and active people not only from Russia, but also from the Asia-Pacific countries.

Primorsky runners have already started active preparation.

Before start the marathon sportsmen usually warming up. Early morning about 50 sportsmen gathered in Russian island. Here, on the ice water area Novick bay is laid the route �Vladivostok Ice Run�. 

 

Constantine Bogdanenko, the organizer of the �Vladivostok Ice Run� marathon: 

"In the 21th of February we will held the first ice marathon in Vladivostok, in addition to 21 km distance, there will be 5 km and 10 km distance. Of course, I also will run, I am not sure that I can run21 km, but 10 km I can run for sure. It is a very interesting project, in Russia there are only few similar projects, and even not too much in the world. One of these projects - it's a marathon on the lake, 42 kilometers, it is one of the ten most interesting extreme events, I think that we will make it not worse even."

Create Baikal marathon competition in Primorye is quite capable, according to the organizers of the upcoming adventure race from the �RunDNSRun� club organizers can compete with Baikal marathon. And even more they have an experience of helding "Vladivostok bridges marathon� in September. Last time about 800 participant take part in the marathon.

 

Konstantin Zyryanov, the trainer of the running club �RunDNSRun�: �The main task is to explain to the people that run is a whole-year activity, and when it's getting cold, it does not mean you must stay at home, you can also spend time by running in compliant clothes, it becomes very comfortable, fun and interesting activity."

Running - it's so cool! Irina Kolesnikova began practicing running just six months ago, and she has already progress, in the "Bridges Vladivostok" marathon she run for 10km distance. Now, she is preparing for an ice race.

Irina Kolesnikova, a participant of �RunDNSRun� running of the club: �I met like-minded people that always positive, cheerful, smiling, very welcoming, so I invite every citizen to join the movement for running, because it's so simple, interesting�.

In the running club �RunDNSRun� is almost no of sportsmen, mostly ordinary citizens - runners, who aspire not to sport records, and came to the club for health, new experiences and friends. Every Saturday everyone can join them for running.
