October 3, PrimaMedia. A significant place on the agenda of the Eastern Economic Forum and the International Fisheries Forum in St. Petersburg this year was taken up by the discussion of one of the most important issues for the development of the country's fishing industry - the future of the system of distribution of rights of access to fishing resources. The XIII International Congress of Fishermen (MKR, Vladivostok, October 4-5) will not remain aloof from discussions on this topic, members of the Congress organizing committee reported at a press conference on September 27. According to the speakers, related industries (shipbuilding, banking segment), which also take part in an industry event in Primorye, need a clear understanding of how resources will be distributed in the future, reports PrimaMedia news agency.
Representatives of the fishing industry of Russia and foreign countries, government agencies - regulators, shipbuilders, equipment manufacturers, marketing specialists, logistics, credit and insurance organizations will take part in the XIII MKR in Primorye. More than 550 participants from 13 regions of Russia and 10 countries registered. The opportunities and challenges that the country's fisheries industry and related sectors of the economy will face in the next 15 years will be discussed at the Congress site.
