Primorye farmers trying to collect all that is left in the fields after heavy rains

68 packages of documents from farmers of Ussuri district were sent to the Agriculture Department of the Primorye.

This year they lost almost the whole harvest.

Local authorities estimate the damage as 242 million rubles.

Now when the authorities are solving the question about the compensation , the farmfers are trying to collect everything that is left in the fields.

Evgeny Ivashchenko: "Many large potatoes have rotted, this year i formed very early, and was hit by the rain."

Evgeny Ivashchenko is a multifunctional farmer: he grows vegetables and potatoes, also he has hay, and grass for lawns. This helps to his family for the fourth year. It is often rains in the Ussuri district.

Yuri Litvinenko, a head of the Ussuriysk urban district administration agriculture department: "Today we lost 730 hectares of potatoes, 545 hectares of vegetables, early crops, more than three thousand hectares of soybeans".
