From freshly caught Ivasi and mackerel, seaside fishermen make products directly into the sea.

According to the regional department of fisheries and aquatic bioresources, five fishing and two fish-processing vessels of Primorye enterprises are currently fishing for sardines of Ivasi and mackerel in the South Kuril area. This is reported by "Vesti: Primorye" with reference to the press service of the Krai administration.

As of September 5, more than 2.5 thousand tons of sardines and 650 tons of mackerel were extracted.
