Demographic indicators in Primorsky Region are getting better. In the Vladivostok maternity hospital № 3, 1263 children appeared, which is 41 children more than in the same period last year.

As reported in the Department of Health, according to the results of the first half of the year  there is an increase in the birth rate in some maternity hospitals.

So, during the first six months of 2018, 1263 babies were born in the Vladivostok maternity hospital №3 , which is 41 more than in the same period last year. The number of newborns that have been born as a result of multiple pregnancies has increased.

During the six months of 2018, 20 twins and one triplet were born in the hospital №3, while in the first half of 2017- 14 twins were born.

Specialists point out that the number of births after extracorporeal fertilization has increased significantly: from 8, ending with the birth of 10 babies, to 18.
