Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) has risen 110 points in the world ranking of universities QS 2018/2019 (QS World University Rankings). Having settled in the group of leading universities from 541 to 550 seats, FEFU demonstrated the best result for the entire time of participation in the rating since 2012. "News: PRimorje" reported this with reference to the press service of the FEFU.

The dynamics of the promotion of the Far Eastern Federal University in the global ranking is indicative of the growing competition among the world's scientific and educational centers - this year experts evaluated more than 4,700 universities. According to the rector of the FEFU Nikita Anisimov, the result is due to a complex of initiatives to improve the competitiveness of the university at the Russian and international levels.
