Today, on April 16, in Primorsky Krai, the official launch of the activities of the "Elder Generation" road map was given. The coordinator of the project, providing for the creation of conditions for active, healthy longevity of pensioners - State Duma deputy Vladimir Novikov. From the regional administration the document was signed by the vice-governors Pavel Serebryakov and Konstantin Mezhonov.

As Vladimir Novikov said, the road map for the "Older Generation" project was developed in response to President Vladimir Putin's instructions and the "Strategy for the benefit of citizens of the older generation until 2025".

The road map was developed by the specialists of the Primorsky Center for Social Services of the Population in cooperation with the NGO "Native People".

The implementation of the road map provides for interagency cooperation between regional and municipal executive authorities, public organizations, partnerships with socially responsible business and NGOs.

For the maintenance of health, active social activities, the organization of leisure time for the elderly, the road map provides for the development of clubs for the older generation on the basis of municipal cultural and sport institutions, medical organizations, as well as a number of activities and actions.
