In Primorye, the Week of Youth Science "Actual problems of experimental, preventive and clinical medicine - 2018" started. The event, for which the main medical university of the region became the venue, brought together over 600 participants from different regions of the Far East and Asia-Pacific countries. Young specialists will make presentations at conferences, take part in competitions, master classes, round tables.

This year's event is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Pacific State Medical University (TSMU).

 "The week of youth science is not just a university-scale event, it is an international platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge of young scientists. For young professionals, the first steps in science in the form of such forums are very important, "said TSMU rector Valentin Shumatov.

The first day of the Week of Science promises to be especially intense: about a dozen master classes, a round table and the final of the competition of scientific and educational and public-popular films are planned. The competition jury has 15 educational films, 12 popular and six scientific films.
