The modern system of purification of sewage waters began to work in Nadezhdenskii district. Citizens of Pazdolnoe village were very anxious about their clean river turning into a swamp. The building of purification centres began in 2016, and a week ago they started to work.

The new building purifies 600 m³ of water a day. It is enough for a small village.

Sewage waters go through mechanical and biological purification as well as disinfection and ultraviolet. Old purification centres became useless almost 20 years ago, since that the clean river turned into sewerage.

Inna Romanchenko, the head of the building company: « A unique mollusc used to live in this river. Moreover, river Rozdolnaya was a spawning place for salmon. Unfortunately, nowadays it is not like it used to be, but we hope that we'll be able to have the mollusc back when the purification system starts to work».

Building such systems is an important moment of ecological activities of the local government.
