Housing construction issues were on the agenda of the meeting on the socio-economic development of Primorsky Krai in 2021 and the development plans for 2022, held under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev, on Monday, January 31.
According to the governor, the volume of construction in Primorye has seriously increased.
"Last year, 885 thousand square meters were constructed, which is 36% more than in 2020. This is one of the best results in the country. This year, we will reach the figure of more than 1 million square meters, and we will increase the volume by 300 thousand annually. People need an opportunity to gain a foothold in the territory, they need affordable housing, so we are building much more," said Oleg Kozhemyako.
