Fulfilling the wishes of young Russians, the deputy prime minister contacted families from Kaliningrad region and Crimea by phone.
The wish to see with her own eyes the amazing Lake Baikal was made by five-year-old Alyona Pristanskaya from Kaliningrad Region. She received a certificate for a trip to the Republic of Buryatia. The girl will be able to see the lighthouse in Turka village, visit Ivolginsky datsan "Khambyn Khuree", Sretensky convent in Baturino village, swim in the hot springs in Goryachinsk village and try national cuisine.
Sixteen-year-old Konstantin Malgavko from Crimea dreamed of seeing the Northern Lights. On his birthday he received gifts from the Deputy Prime Minister and a certificate for a trip to the Murmansk region.
The "Wishing Tree" campaign has been held on New Year's Eve every year since 2018. Its goal is to give a holiday to children in difficult life situations.
