On January 1st, transport companies removed almost 550 tons of municipal waste from residential areas of the Far Eastern capital - 20% more than on normal days. During the New Year holidays, the Primorye’s Environmental Operator (PEO) sent additional equipment for garbage collection. 

On December 31st 602 tons of waste were collected from 2 thousand collection points. On January 1st 548 tons of waste were collected from 1.8 thousand collection points. On New Year's Eve the volume of waste in Primorye, especially in Vladivostok, increases.
