Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the revival of shipbuilding in the Far East. This was stated by the head of state at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok on Friday, September 3.
Vladimir Putin, opening the plenary session, stressed that the Far East, the Amur, Khabarovsky and Primorsky regions have launched projects of a global importance in aviation, shipbuilding, chemical industry, gas processing, and logistics.
Also, the president highlighted that the amount of foreign investments on the Far East has almost doubled and reached 80 billion dollars.
