Vladivostok welcomes masterpieces of Italian painters of the 18th century. The new exhibition «Under Venice’s sky» is being prepared at the Primorye’s State art gallery. 

The paintings spent more time inside the boxes than they spent travelling from Italy to Russia. The boxes were opened at the State gallery, the local painters restaurateurs examined every inch of the masterpieces. Their Italian colleagues participated in the process via a video-call. In the end of the examination the specialists confirmed that the paintings were not damaged during the transportation.

The exhibition opens on September 3rd. The organisators promise that the decorations of the gallery will surprise the visitors just as much as the paintings.
