The region will have its first ever cruise company. It will be presented during the upcoming Eastern Economic Forum. 

Deputy Prime minister Yuri Trutnev said in an interview for GTRK «Vladivostok» that since shipbuilding industry develops in the region it was proposed to create the region’s own cruise company in order to connect the vast region. The liners will allow passengers to visit such remote territories as the Kuril Islands, Komandors etc.
