The tunnel discovered under the Square of the Fighters for Soviet Power in Vladivostok is presumably an engineering structure, - reports "Vesti: Primorye" with the reference to the press centre of the government of the region. This was announced at a briefing on Wednesday, April 14, by the deputy head of the Inspectorate for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Primorsky Krai Alexei Zuev.

The workers involved in the arrangement of a new modern "dry" fountain discovered the tunnel. 

The historical and cultural value of the objet will be established in the near future.
