In Chuguevka district 2021 was declared the year of Aleksander Fadeev, the famous countryman. 

There are only a dozen monuments and busts of Fadeev in the former Soviet Union. But there are plenty of references to his name on the maps. According to the address directory, there are 159 Fadeyev streets and alleys and only one square in Russia. But there are four avenues, and they are all in the Trans-Baikal Territory. Until now, our countryman is on the list of the five hundred most popular personalities on address plates: line number 490.

Alexander Fadeev was not born in Chuguevka, as many people think. His homeland is the town of Kimry, in Tver province. His family moved to Primorye in 1908. 

Although Fadeev's birthday is in December, the main festivities are planned for the golden fall. At the end of September, the writer's only Chuguev literary and memorial museum in the country will celebrate the fortieth anniversary of his second birthday.
