Another transfer of goods from Japan to Europe via the Trans-Siberian railway is planned for November 18th

The transport corridor Japan-Europe will be used again. According to a famous Japanese news agency Yahoo News Japan the transfer project between Russia and Japan is being realised.

In the meantime the Japanese goods for delivery are being collected in Vladivostok’s port. On November 18th block-trains with the goods on board will leave Vladivostok via the Trans-Siberian railway.

The route will include several stops in Moscow and Brest (Belarus) before arriving at the final destination - Malashevichi (Poland).

Such large Japanese companies as Nippon Shokubai petrochemical corporation, Honda motors, a giant of Japanese automobile industry, Makita Corporation, a famous manufacturer of medical equipment Nipro Corporation - in total, more than 15 different Japanese business structures - send their cargoes along the Transsib to Europe. The largest Japanese international logistics corporation Nippon Express also takes part in the project.

According to Yahoo News Japan, preliminary calculations have already been made, and the show that the Russian transport corridor is profitable for Japanese business.

If the traditional sea way through the Suez Canal takes from 53 to 62 days, then via the Transsib railway, the Japanese goods will get to Europe in 20-27 days. Thus, almost twice as much transport time is saved.
