Rozhdestvenka is one of the villages of the unique Dalnerechie district of Primorye. This year the village celebrated its 120th anniversary. Located on the south-east from Dalnerechensk, the village has been founded by settlers in 1900. There are many version of where the name, Rozhdestvenka, comes from. The most popular one is related to the possibility of the first settlers arriving to the village on Christmas (cf. Rozhdestvo - Christmas in Russian).
