Grodekovo is a taiga village near green mountains. It has its own library were all of the local archives are. The villagers of Grodekovo decided to honour those who fought for them and their country during the war by erecting a special monument - obelisk. Since the village did not receive any fundings for the obelisk, the locals did all the work themselves - bought and erected the first ever obelisk of Grodekovo.
