The Taz language, the language of one of the indigenous people of Primorye, is carried from one generation to another. Taz people live in Mikhailovka village of Olga district.
Since there is no Taz alphabet or grammar books and the population speaking the dialect is not that important, the language can not be taught at schools. So grandparents are the only hope for children to learn this mysterious language.
Taz are the descendants of mixed Udege and Chinese families. Their language developed its own characters but unfortunately they have not been preserved so now the language only has its oral form.
