The preparation for this historic event took several days. The most worthy and experienced pilots were chosen for the show. 

21 planes were participating in the air parade. All of them took off from different airports. For example, SU-35 took off from Vladivostok’s airport, part of the helicopter group took off from Chernigovka’s air base and TU-142 arrived from Kamenny Ruchei’s airport in Khabarovsky region. 

Moreover, navy helicopters Ka-27, Mi-8 as well as anti-submarine warfare Il-38 also joined the parade.
