Scientists discovered a mutation that makes COVID-19 more contagious. It can make vaccines less effective. 

The specialists analysed several thousand genomes of the virus and discovered 14 mutations. Now it has become even easier for the virus to infect people. One person with COVID-19 infects 2,5 people in average, as for the usual flu, the number is 1,28 people. 

Virus with the new mutation became the main reason of the pandemic in Europe and North America. The scientist think that due to the new mutation, the virus can neutralise antibodies more effectively.
