Russia’s COVID-19 patient zero turned out to be a tourist from Milan. 

The patient has been rapidly diagnosed with the virus because of early symptoms of the disease. 

The man has also become the first one to recover from the illness. However, the patient infected his senior parents. His father had to be connected to a respirator, but his mother only had mild symptoms. 

According to the latest data, in total there are 24 490 positive cases of coronavirus in Russia for the moment. 198 have died and almost 2000 have recovered.
