Primorye’s Arctic or 50 shades of Khanka’s ice - this year the surface of the biggest lake of the Russian Far East is covered in ice-hummocks. The locals see the new surface of the lake as a new extreme sports’ ground. They try to climb the hummocks although it is not a very good idea, since it is unclear if the ice is thick enough.
Although the lake has become a new attraction of the region it scares the local citizens sometimes because of the sound the hummocks make when they move.
