The most possible source of the new coronavirus is thought to be bats, according to the Ministry of science and technology of China. 

The scientists have already proposed the idea that the new coronavirus type is 90% identical with the bat coronavirus, that was previously found in Zhoushan, Zhejiang. 

Now the statement has been approved by the head of the Ministry of science and technology of China Wu Yuanbin.
