This winter food festival has already become a tasty tradition of the city and the region. Primorye’s winter menu is just not the same without this fish. Different smelt dishes represent the unique far eastern cuisine. 

This year more than 20 restaurants participate in the festival and each of them tries to surprise its guests with unusual gourmet dishes. It has been counted that ore than 30 kg of smelt is being eaten daily during them festival!
