Tiger Boris has recently became a father.
A real “baby-boom” happened in December among Amur tigers. Right after tigress Lazo giving birth to her first brood, tigress Svetlaya became a mother for the second time. The same tiger Boris is considered to be the father of these cubs.
Svetlaya surprised the keepers of the sanctuary: she demonstrated her cubs to the photo traps. The cameras also caught the tigress herself with the cubs and the assumed father, Boris.
Tiger Boris was released into the wild in 2014 with the help of Vladimir Putin, this is why the tiger is sometimes referred to as the “presidential” one.
