First sport grounds for extreme sports, such as skateboarding, BMX and kick scooter, started to appear in Primorye. They were created in Ussuriisk and Arseniev.
Thousands of teenagers and young adults practice extreme sports in the Far Eastern region. Last year, more than 100 participants from Vladivostok, Ussuriisk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Khabarovsk, Blagoveshensk and Korsakov took part in the extreme sports festival “Bridges” that was held in Vladivostok last autumn.
