The Legislative assembly of Primorsky region has adopted a new legislation making Vladivostok the official capital of Primorye. Many call this decision historical, since this problem stayed unsolved for a long time. 

According to the document, that was approved by the governor of Primorye, Vladivostok is officially recognised as the capital of Primorye as it has been recognised the center of the Far Eastern region recently. 

The new status will attract extra financing to the region, that will allow the region to develop even more.
