Vladivostok has officially become the capital of Primorsky region. 

The new legislation regarding the status of Vladivostok was adopted during the last meeting of the Legislative assembly of the region on Wednesday, November 27. According to the document, that was approved by the governor of Primorye, Vladivostok is officially recognised as the capital of Primorye as it has been recognised the center of the Far Eastern region recently. 

The new status will attract extra financing to the region, that will allow the region to develop even more.
