Far Eastern scientists spotted a scenario of a methane catastrophe in the Arctic. During 2019 marine expeditions, the new discoveries have completely changed the usual perception of the global warming. The scientists discovered record amounts of methane. 

The ice of the Artic is not just melting, but almost boiling. Because of the gases that come out of the water, the concentration of CH4 in the air exceeds the regular concentration in several times.

The Arctic region of our planet is warming up faster than it was expected. According to the specialists, this process may accelerate.
